Shelby Ambulatory Surgery at the Physicians Center encompasses over 20,000 square feet of state-of-the-art facilities for providing “excellent patient outcomes.” There are three operating rooms and two procedure rooms. Our comfortable reception and waiting room will accommodate your family while you are being cared for in our modern surgical areas.

Alabaster is our home, and we’re pleased to serve our community. Our acute care facility is equipped with 252 beds and over 1,000 professionals to do just that. Our emergency department is one of the most depended-upon in the state, with over 51,000 visits each year. And our technology resources include a 3 Tesla MRI, a robotic surgery program, and a state-of-the-art cardiology suite. Advanced tools enable our treatment and service, but we believe our most valuable resources are our passion and expertise.

At Princeton Baptist Medical Center, we’re passionate about caring for the people of central Alabama. We offer a full range of services to meet the diverse needs of our patients including fast, life-saving response times for patients with chest pain or stroke symptoms; cardiology, including structural heart and valve care; orthopedics, including rehabilitation; psychiatric care; a comprehensive sleep center; and a Comprehensive Bariatrics Center, providing surgical and non-surgical weight-loss procedures.

Grandview Medical Center is a brand new 372-bed tertiary care hospital that provides comprehensive healthcare services to patients in Birmingham and surrounding communities. Conveniently located on Highway 280, Grandview offers diverse specialties from heart care to labor and delivery to robotic-assisted surgery. Specialty units include a Level III trauma center, certified Chest Pain Center, recognized stroke center, cardiac cath lab and neonatal, surgical and medical intensive care.
